Dentures are removable replacements for missing teeth and adjacent tissues.
A denture improves chewing ability and provides support for facial muscles. Dentures will greatly enhance the facial appearance and smile. And thanks to recent innovations in modern technology, dentures now look more natural and are more comfortable than ever before.
Complete dentures replace all the teeth. A partial denture fills in the spaces created by missing teeth and also serves to prevent other teeth from changing position.
The Denture Process takes about one month and multiple appointments.
Using a combination of science and artistry the dentists at The Dental Health Center can literally redesign you smile.
The most effective way to keep your dentures clean is a combination of daily brushing and then soaking in a chemical solution. Brushing should be done with the dentures removed from the mouth, using facial soap or liquid detergent on a SOFT toothbrush. Never sleep with your dentures. Dentures should be removed before bedtime and soaked in a cleaning solution. Keeping your dentures in at night allows for bad bacteria to accumulate, which may cause infections and terrible odor.
Denture wearers should also brush the top surface of their tongue as well as the palate with a soft toothbrush and toothpaste, on a daily basis.
Adjustments
You may experience some sore spots after receiving your dentures.

Note: It’s a common misconception that after losing all your teeth, it is no longer necessary to visit the dentist. NOT TRUE. Because the bone supporting your dentures changes constantly throughout life, it is necessary to see your dentist periodically to evaluate its fit.
